They have joined together for the common purpose of obtaining more income to offset their household expenses.

Sra. Fidelina is a beautician who is well-known in her neighborhood for the excellent way she treats her customers. She is a hard worker and a fighter. Fidelina says that all of her efforts are aimed toward providing for the welfare of her family. Someday she would like to expand her business.

El Comité de Mujeres San Juan se encuentran en el tercer ciclo, son muy conocidas en el barrio por su cooperación, coordinación y solidaridad las unas con las otras.
Se definen como mujeres trabajadoras, jefas de familia que luchan día a día por el pan de sus hijos. Se unieron con un fin en común que es la obtención de mayores ingresos para paliar los gastos del hogar.
La Sra Fidelina es peluquera, es muy conocida en el barrio por su excelente forma de tratar a los clientes, es muy trabajadora y luchadora. Comenta que todo el esfuerzo que hace es por el bien de su familia. Le encantaría algún día poder ampliar su negocio.
