Arminda's story

Arminda was born in the district of Manjacaze in Gaza province in southern Mozambique. She is single and the mother of a four children between the ages of 9 and 24. She finished the 9th grade but had to leave school because of health problems. She lives with her family in her own home, and isn't financially responsible for anyone else.
She left Gaza for Maputo in order finish her studies. She has had a job in the town government of Machava in Maputo for 26 years. She also has her own business, where she earns a salary of 2900 meticals a month, and profits of around 3000. She uses her earnings for household expenses and is able to save a little in her bank account.
She's never had a loan from other banks. She heard about Hluvuku through a friend who is also a client. This is her second loan with Hluvuku, in the amount of 25,000 meticals, which she will use to buy goods (rice, sweet potatoes, flour, oil, and so on) to increase the quantity of merchandise she carries. Her first loan was in the amount of 20,000 meticals.
Her dream is to finish her house and expand her business, for which she will request additional loans from Hluvuku.
