A loan of $1,000 helped to purchase sausages and cured meats.

Martha's story

On June 24th of each year, Bolivia celebrates the Festival of San Juan. Part of the tradition involves building bonfires and eating sausages (hot dogs). Sra. Martha has many customers around this holiday since she operates a meat locker and butcher shop. She always has the best cured meats for celebrating the Festival of San Juan.

Martha lives in the District of Alto Pampahasi, which is located 25 minutes from the central part of the city. Her meat locker has been in operation for three years and she currently has sufficient capital and merchandise. As the date of the festival approaches, her sales increase since she is receiving more orders. For this reason, she is requesting a loan to buy sausages and cured meats.

Martha is a very responsible and friendly individual. Throughout the time she has worked with the loans from Emprender, she has always demonstrated that she is punctual and responsible.
