Luz's story

Luz is 24. She is a hard-working woman who lives in a rented home with her partner, Ruben, age 31, and their two beloved children: Yosu, age 5, and Ruana, age 1. Her children are the motivation for all of her hard work. Luz is a young mother who works hard in the face of the difficulties that afflict her home, and does not shrink back in spite of them. She is a competent women who works to get her children ahead. She tells us that she works hard to provide her children with food to eat. She sells clothing in the streets and has been doing this for two years. Bit by bit she saves up her earnings to feed and educate her beloved children. She will use this loan as capital to purchase a variety of clothing articles. Luz thinks big and is certain that in the future she will have a spot in the shopping centers to display her merchandise with greater ease. Thus, she goes to great pains every day to save even a little of her earnings. This will be her second loan and she is very happy to know that she will have the support of lenders to continue growing. In her communal bank, she works together with the rest of the members. With the requested loan, she will invest in a variety of clothing articles.
