A loan of $5,000 helped a member to buy two bundles of fabric (bed sheets).

Juhudi Group's story

The customer, Christine, is the leader of the Juhudi business group. She is a fifty-year old entrepreneur, married, and a mother of ten; all the children have schooling, and some have their own families. She retails fabrics to ladies. Her husband is a hotel cook.
She displays her merchandise along active streets and avenues. She has been doing business in this way for over nine years. However, she just went through 20 loan cycles with Hekima's lending. This new loan should allow her to stock up with two bundles of fabrics (bed sheets). In addition, her ambition is to keep her children in school and to buy a lot to build a comfortable house.
The customer thanks Hekima for its actions in favor of poor women excluded from traditional banking. It should be noted that a majority of group Juhudi's members are women.
