Miroir Plus Group's story

Liliane is the chairwoman of a community bank named “Miroir Plus”, which is composed of 23 microentrepreneurs jointly united to receive loans from Kiva through IMF HOPE RDC with the goal of developing their businesses.

Liliane earns a living by selling spices and school items, a business she started in 2001. She sells in her district located east of Kinshasa. Liliane works hard in order to achieve her dream of someday diversifying her business by adding fresh food and beverages sales. Currently, through her sales, Liliane makes about $20 per day. She is planning to use this loan to increase her business inventory. Liliane is married and the mother of four children whose ages range from 3 to 17 years old.
