A loan of $4,650 helped a member to buy vegetables, meat, and potatoes for her restaurant.

Dandé Légnol Group's story

The solidarity group Dandé Légnol was created on June 29, 2009. It is composed of 19 women who are all from the same town. Ms. Sémou (standing at the far right in the photo) is the group’s official. She is 41 years old, married, and the mother of four children. Plus, she is the guardian of four other children to support.

Ms. Sémou’s main business is a restaurant, which is something she has done for long time. Her loan will enable her to buy the condiments necessary for operating her restaurant in the right way.

Her goal is to ensure her children are educated, to increase the size of her restaurant, and to boost her ability to save money.
