Israel is a 32 year-old hardworking man living in his own permanent house in Fort Portal, Uganda. The responsibility to take care of his parents and siblings is vested in him and his desire is to enable them to live an acceptable standard of living.
For four years, he has worked in the transport sector and it has been profitable since he has been able to pay school fees for his brother with the income generated. He has challenges in the ever increasing road licences and accidents so he would like to divert into agriculture. Israel needs the loan facility to buy a piece of land for farming.
This loan provides farmers and low-income entrepreneurs from underserved rural areas with access to financial services. By supporting this loan, you allow more farmers and rural entrepreneurs to access capital.
