Sanaa's story

Sanaa is a 45 years-old married woman and a mother to five children. She works selling clothes which helps her husband in covering their expenses, through the extra income she provides through her business.

Sanaa is a hardworking woman, who seeks perfection from her family and business at the same time.

Sanaa is requesting a loan from A. Majmoua, and this is her 10th cycle as an A. Majmoua-Kiva partner borrower, with a good standing history, in order to start a new business selling "abaya". Abayas are the loose, usually black, robes worn by Muslim women, especially in Arabic-speaking regions, covering the body from head to toe. The abayas are in high demand during Lebanon's summer season since most of the tourists are Arabs enjoying its beauty.

Sanaa also works sewing curtains. She really skilled in this domain and hopes to improve it in the coming days.
