Mahabat's Group's story

Mahabat is the treasurer of this group. She is 36 and married to a constructor. She and her husband are raising two sons and a daughter, all of whom are in school. In order to earn additional money to meet the family's needs, Mahabat breeds livestock. She started this activity seven years ago with an initial investment of 3,000 Kyrgyzstani soms (KGS). Reselling livestock after fattening, Mahabat earns an additional 2,000 soms per month. With money received from the loan, Mahabat wants to purchase a calf for breeding. In the near future, she plans to enlarge a shed in order to keep more cattle there.
