Rosa's story

Rosa has lived in the city of Huancayo for 30 years. She is a widow and lives with her three children in her own home. She has 21 years experience in her business. She owns a store which has kept her going in spite of the difficult moments that she has had to live through. Her store is currently very large and she sells a wiD. range of products including fruit, meat, grains, canned goods, some cleaning products and some stationery products. She has stocked her store so that her customers have more options when they shop.

For Rosa, having this business has been (and still is) a great life experience as she has learned to be more sociable and get ahead for her family's sake. Her business is now sound and so she plans to continue expanding it with more merchandise.

This is Rosa's second loan from MFP. She considers that she maD. a good decision in working with MFP since she would like to increase her working capital. She knows how to manage her income so that she can meet her loan repayments and she has shown this over time. On this occasion, she will invest the money that she is requesting in buying products such as rice, sugar and noodles wholesale.
