A loan of $1,000 helped to buy fabric to make 'polleras' (traditional skirts).

Faustina's story

Faustina is a very hard-working woman who, through her own efforts and those of her husband, managed to get her children ahead in life and give them a profession. Now she says that it is time to achieve her dream which is to own a clothes store for 'señoras D. polleras' (ladies who wear 'polleras' - a traditional skirt). For this reason, she needs a loan. Faustina already has her store and the tools she needs but she would like to stock her store with fabrics. She will use her money to buy modern fabrics and make skirts that are more fashionable. She also hires out these garments for fiestas and her merchandise must be new, original and fashionable. She will invest her loan in fulfilling her dream.

Faustina is a very dynamic and cheerful person who is grateful to the institution for the support they have provided.
