A loan of $475 helped to purchase better livestock.

Leocadia's story

Leonarda tells us she was born in the community of Yungaqui (province of Anta, department of Cusco, Peru). She is 32 years old, married and has two children. Currently, Leonarda lives and works in the community of Tambo Real (Anta, Cusco). She makes a living in livestock and also sells milk. She has had this business for a number of years and it is going very well thanks to the hard work she puts into her job. At this time she is requesting the loan to purchase better or well-nourished livestock since she needs to make changes to her herd to improve its milk production. Leonarda is a hard-working and responsible person, which is why she was invited by the other members to join the "Solidaridad de Tambo Real" community bank with Kiva partner Asociación Arariwa.
