A loan of $1,050 helped to buy traditional clothing.

Josefa's story

Josefa, 29, is married with two children. Her husband works independently selling vegetables in the CENMA market in the capital of Guatemala. One of the children is in school. Josefa sells traditional clothing such as cuts, huipiles (colorful dresses in Mayan style),blouses, etc. In front of the municipal market in her community, for 5 years she has been selling only on market days:Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Her clientele increases daily, so she needs another loan to purchase traditional clothing. This will help her husband with the family finances and their home.
