A loan of $2,650 helped a member to buy meat, seasonings, eggs and other supplies.

Caacupe Group's story

The formation of this committee began thanks to Señora María. She had heard of an entrepreneurial women’s program and was enthusiastic about the idea. So she organized her friends and neighbors and there the committee emerged.

Señora María has made a living selling food for many years. Thanks to that she has been able to establish a very defined group of customers. She states that she is a very good cook and that her food is very tasty, which is why it is in high demand.

The client defines herself as a hardworking woman and a fighter. She hopes one day to have a bigger location where she would be able to offer her food. She is requesting a loan to buy supplies for making her food such as meat, eggs and seasonings, among others.
