A loan of $750 helped to buy tables and chairs.

Otilia's story

Otilia is 56 years old and married to 61 year-old Donato. They have one son called Michael who is 22 years old. They live together in their own home which is located in Huarmamayo, in Quimbiri district.

Otilia is an enthusiastic woman who is focused on her responsibilities. She runs a bar called "La Choza" which is located in Quimbiri district. She sells alcoholic beverages to adults. She also sells typical regional dishes such as 'tacacho con cecina' (roasted, mashed plantains with pork), 'juanes' (a chicken dish), etc. In her business, she has the support of three young ladies who are willing to provide her public with good customer service. She has been in this business for 11 years and is grateful for the loyalty of her customers. More people come to her bar on weekends and so she makes more money then. Otilia is, once again, taking out one of the loans that the institution offers those most in need with the goal of growing her business and investing the money in it. Her future plan for her business is to open a new branch with the same name, in the same district.

This will be Otilia's eighth loan and she needs your support in order to continue making progress. She pledges to make her repayments on time and is grateful that she belongs to her community bank. She will use the money she has requested to replace her worn furniture such as tables and chairs with new ones.
