Las Animadoras Group's story

Petrona, Ingrid, and Juana, all of whom reside in San Lorenzo, Honduras, formed the “Las Animadoras” solidarity group in June, 2011. Petrona and her husband make a living by selling seafood and vegetables out of their truck. She is a returning client and had a punctual payment history on her previous loan. Petrona is requesting a loan of HNL 10,000 to purchase a bulk amount of seafood and vegetables, which she will sell. Ingrid makes a living by selling freshly prepared food and Juana makes a living by operating a small convenience shop.
