A loan of $550 helped to buy sacks of manure.

Hilda's story

Hilda is from Chupaga and she’s lived her entire life where she was born. She lives in her own house with her husband and three children. All her life she’s been tied to farming and currently continues farming potatoes and corn. She thus spends part of her life tending to her crops so that the insect blights won’t affect productivity. Because of this, she has to take concrete steps that will help her attain a good harvest in order to recuperate the investment she made at the moment of planting. Part of the tools she has is some equipment and a tractor which minimizes the cost of the investment normally made at this stage. Now, her greatest wish is to increase production and to go into planting other food items.

She’s had six loans with MFP already and she feels that she learned how to administer her income with them. Her income and economy are more solid nowadays because she has loans easily available. In all this time she’s been punctual with her payments so she is considered to be a trustworthy person. She will use the money she’s requesting to buy sacks of manure to be able to plant carrots.
