Mitsubishi Group's story

Iman, who is in his early 20s, is single. He takes care of his brother's son who is about 3 years old.

He has been running two businesses. He has a barber shop and he has had a bajaji (tricycle) for three years. He works from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and is able to earn a fair monthly profit.

This will be his third loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loans to expand and repaint his barber shop, take driving lessons and pay household expenses, and he has paid back all his loans successfully.

He hopes for a loan to buy more salon equipment to attract customers. His dream is to one day build his own house.

He will share this loan with his loan group, "Mitsubishi," which has 15 members who will hold each other accountable in repaying their loans.
