Fass Diom Group's story

This solidarity group was established on June 22, 2010. The group is made up of 15 women who live in the same neighborhood. Their primary occupation is small business.

Mrs. Coura, who is raising her hand at right in the photo, is the group's leader. She is 54 years old. She is married and the mother of three. She also cares for five other children entrusted to her by their parents.

She occupies herself with the sale of vegetables and fritters. She has solid experience in this line of business since she has been practicing it for several years.

This loan will allow Mrs. Coura to strengthen her capital and to better grow her business.

The profits will allow her to improve her family's living conditions (health, food, clothing, etc.) and to increase her savings.
