A loan of $550 helped to stock up on more shoes.

Nicolaza's story

Nicolaza is 47 years old. She is a widow but lives with her five children in her own home, which is located in the Puerto Mayo community which is in Pichari district.

Nicolaza mentions to us that she has been able achieve everything she has thanks to sacrifice and perseverance, for she has had to deprive herself of many things ever since she was young. Her whole life has been devoted to business and now she works selling shoes. She therefore hopes to have a store, as she has seen there isn't a business of this type within their community. In addition, she has increased demand from her customers. She has the help of her children, who are responsible for serving customers. Also, the variety of shoes that she sells are at very affordable prices, so the people of Puerto Mayo always go to Nicolaza's small establishment.

This will be her second loan through MFP, therefore she hopes for support from each of you in achieving her goals. She assures us that she feels comfortable with her community bank, since they are all supporting each other.

With the 1,500 New Soles Nicolaza will buy more product staples to stock up her business.
