A loan of $750 helped to buy sand, cement, and windows for her house.

Rosario's story

Rosario is a member of the “Mujeres Emprendedoras” (Enterprising Women) Communal Bank in Yarinacocha district, Ucayali department. She is 48 years old and has 6 children.

Rosario's loans were invested entirely in buying materials to continue improving the infrastructure of her house, which offers hospitality services. Rosario rents out personal rooms and for that reason, she constantly needs to maintain her house and offer all the conveniences to her guests.

With this new loan of 2,000 new sols, Rosario will buy 3 meters of sand to plaster 2 rooms, 6 buckets of paint, and 2 aluminum windows.

All Rosario's loans have been invested in her business, and thanks to her earnings, she can cover household costs and make her monthly payments to Manuela Ramos.

Rosario says “Thanks to Manuela Ramos for facilitating the loans I requested during all the loan cycles.”
