A loan of $2,975 helped a member to buy more cosmetics to re-sell.

Las Emprendedoras Group's story

This excellent group of businesswomen was formed in the town of Itá. The current Chairperson Sra. Lourdes contacted the advisor in a weekly meeting that she was holding in the area to tell her about the kind of work that the Committee of Women Entrepreneurs were doing. Once the program was assessed, she managed to get together twenty women who work well together and are already in their sixth loan cycle. They are committed and supportive of each other and can be described as diligent and hardworking.

Sra. Lourdes has been selling cosmetics for some time so she has a regular clientele. Through her hard work she has managed to get ahead and provide a decent life for her family. She is considered to be a very hardworking woman who is not afraid of work.

Lourdes is seeking a loan to buy more cosmetics so she can increase her stock.
