Patrick is 40 years old and lives in the town of Hoima, which is in the Hoima region of Uganda. He is married and has 5 children, 3 of whom are currently in school. He has had a hardware business for 4 years. He also has two other businesses, in farming and spare parts.
Patrick has requested a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan Shillings (UGX) from BRAC Uganda to help expand his business. He will use the loan to purchase hardware goods for resale. With the help of the loan from BRAC, he hopes to generate greater profits and pay his children's school fees. In the future, he hopes to expand his hardware business.
