A loan of $200 helped to purchase mangoes, papayas, and watermelons to go out to sell.

Bernardina Santos's story

Bernardina is a fruit merchant. She lives with her husband and one child. She makes her fruit sales itinerantly, traveling along some of the streets in the city but also selling outside schools. With this business she is able to have an income to cover the needs of the home. She requests a loan to purchase mangoes, papayas, and watermelons to go out and sell. With these fruits she will be able to continue on with her business, making sales to her clients and generating more earnings.

Her goal is to increase her business, to increase her clientele, to have a store where to set herself up to make her sales, and to help her family in whatever they need.
