Razia's Group's story

Razia is 41 years old, married and has four children. Her two eldest sons are daily wage laborers, her youngest son is illiterate and her daughter is studying in class 9th. Her husband is a mason and provides construction services to different construction companies and people looking to build homes. He is the only breadwinner in the family.

Razia is a caring lady, carrying out her responsibilities of a housewife very well. She cooks food for her family and keeps her house clean. She has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah to financially assist her husband who wants to buy masonry tools that will allow him to provide better quality services to his customers and increase his profits. He has been operating this business for the past 15 years and Razia is hopeful that after the loan investment, he will be able to improve his income further.

Razia is a regular loan user of Asasah and this is her third loan application. In previous loan years, she has maintained a good credit record and never missed any meeting.

Note: In the photo, the lady with a book (called Asasah Passbook) is Razia.
