A loan of $200 helped to buy supplies for her business such as milk, rice, purple corn and disposable containers.

Patricia's story

Patricia is a single mother and has a 6 year-old son who is in school. Patricia lives in her parents' home and receives money for her son from her ex-partner.

Patricia's business is selling 'mazamorra', rice pudding and 'dulce de camote' (sweet potato candy). She carries out this business in the area where she lives, in Comatrana park and outside Comatrana church. She also sells her products to the people who work in the regional hospital. The challenge that Patricia faces is having to leave her son alone with her mom so that she can work in order to provide him with a better quality of life.

Patricia is requesting this loan to buy supplies for preparing her products such as rice, milk, purple corn, cinammon and disposable containers for distributing her products. Patricia, in common with all young women, has a lot of dreams. One of them is to own her own premises where she can sell her products and better serve her customers. Patricia is very grateful for the support she has been given.
