A loan of $1,125 helped to buy spare parts.

Saibou's story

Saibou is a married 39-year-old father of one who lives in a nuclear family with his child and wife in the Niebala area of Bougouni.
Having not gone to school, he started working early in life, including buying and selling motorbikes in Bamako (capital of the Republic of Mali) with no success. Some years later, he returned to his uncle in Bougouni to learn about buying and selling spare parts.
Since becoming involved with the Soro Yiriwaso loan program, his job sector has evolved, and his buying and selling cycle has changed a lot.
With 8 years of experience, he is an expert at his job.
To increase the size of his shop, Saibou has decided to take out a loan through Soro Yiriwaso to buy 15 tires, 10 batteries, 2 bunches of keys, and 25 inner tubes in Bamako.
He is on his fifth loan with Soro Yiriwaso and his four previous loans were all repaid in full.
With this loan, Saibou hopes to make a monthly profit of 70,750 FCFA. He hopes to increase the size of his business with this money.
