Maqboola's Group's story

Maqboola is 35 years old and married with four children: two sons and two daughters. Her elder son is 18 years old and involved in a floor tile-making business. He just studied till 5th standard while the other three are enrolled in a school and getting their education.

Her husband runs a grocery store business. He runs his business at his home. He has taken over a room of his house for this purpose where he serves his customers and generates income for the family. He has been operating this business for the past seven years.

Maqboola has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for her husband’s business. With the loan, he will buy groceries in bulk to be able to put into his store for selling. Maqboola is very hopeful that her husband’s business will grow further and increase his profits.
