Mahukpego De Agbato Group's story

The Mahukpego de Agbato Group is made up of four people who live in the same area. This is the first time that this group has asked for financing from ALIDé in order to enhance the capacity of their business. The group representative is Toussaint; she is the one raising her hand in the photo. Toussaint is 57 years old and lives in Benin. Toussaint is a widow and has four children, all educated, who no longer live with her. In order to support each of their needs, for eleven years, Toussaint has taken up the sale of prepared casava. Toussaint purchases her raw casava at one of the largest markets in Benin. In pursuit of better satisfying her clients and to increase her sales and revenues, Toussaint and the other members of the Mahukpego de Agbato Group are asking for their first loan.

In this group: Toussaint, Albertine, Pauline, Alexandrine
