A loan of $3,250 helped a member to buy flour to make cookies and tarts.

Las Leonas Group's story

The entrepreneurs loan group Las Leonas (The Lions) is a new group and is comprised of 9 members who are all women. The women work in commerce and sell chickens and other things. Dora is the president of the bank and she has a son and works making cookies, empanadas, pies, cakes and a variety of cookies, a business that is doing very well, and she will use the loan to buy flour and supplies to make cookies. She is a very hardworking person and she is always thinking of the well being of her son. Her wish is to see her son become a professional and also to have her own cake store as she currently makes her goods and delivers them in the area and to some schools. She is grateful to the loan institution for the support offered to her.
