A loan of $1,025 helped to buy meat for his taco stand.

Jaime's story

Mr. Jaime is originally from the Melchor Ocampo neighborhood. He is married to María de la Luz and they have 3 young children who are primary school students. They have a 17 year-old in school, one young 13 year-old girl in secondary school and a 9-year-old girl in primary school.

Jaime has a taco stand in his neighborhood near the center of the town. He sells steak tacos, tacos de cabeza al vapor (traditional steamed tacos), consomés (clear soup) and sodas. He has been in this business for 20 years and he gets his meat and vegetables from Angangueo since there they sell cheaper meat.

Jaime says that he is very happy to receive the loan because he will be able to buy a little more meat to make his tacos.

Jaime's goal is to move forward and put a post for the sale of grilled chicken in his neighborhood.
