A loan of $175 helped to pay for the purchase of blankets and pads for making cheeses.

Guadalupe's story

Señora Guadalupe lives in Llano Grande in the municipality of Coapilla in Chiapas. She is married to Señor Sergio, and they have no children for whom they are responsible.

She will invest the loan in the purchase of blankets and pads for cheese making, which she says she has been doing for twenty years and nine months. She says it's going well, as she has moved her family forward in their lives.

The reason she started her activity was because of her husband, who was working milking cows in a community; this was how he learned to make cheese. Eventually her husband got his own cows and they started to practice cheese-making themselves. Since then, the two of them work in this small business.

What she wants most is with the blessing of God and the loans, to be able to keep working to keep herself given their household expenses.
