A loan of $450 helped to buy a television set, computer and stationery items.

Jeisson Alberto's story

Jeisson, 18, lives in the Nuevo Milenio neighborhood in the town of Soledad. He owns a business called "Mr. Ciber" which he set up because of his entrepreneurial spirit and his firm desire to help his mother cover household expenses. Jeisson is a young man with clear goals and a desire to get ahead in his personal, family and business life. He dreams of one day visiting the United States and seeing modern equipment, and of growing his business and turning it into an elegant Internet café in a shopping center with many customers.

For now he is planning to add a television set, computer and stationery items to diversify his business and give it an atmosphere of study and research. His main customers are young people who visit him to do their homework or enjoy a leisurely, healthy pastime supported by Jeisson. This is why he is reaching out to credikiva, his first loan through the Santo Domingo Foundation. The new equipment and related merchandise will attract new customers and satisfy current ones. While working to try and meet his goal, he is taking every effort to expand and increase his profit margin, which is no less than 33%.
