A loan of $375 helped to purchase rice, sugar, noodles, flour, oil, and other items.

Hilda Magali's story

Hilda is a member of the Communal Bank “Morenita Huamanga”. She is 38 years old, married, and has three children. Hilda has a grocery store where she sells all types of products. The loan she is requesting will be invested in the purchase of rice, sugar, noodles, flour, oil, and other items.

Hilda previously sold juices as a street vendor, but she decided to open a grocery store after the birth of her baby. She has been with FINCA Peru for many years and appreciates the convenience of the loans, which require little paperwork and are disbursed on the basis of trust. By utilizing her loans and savings, Hilda has gradually built up her business to the level she has now. She is able to sell groceries, vegetables, fruits, and gas. Hilda has also used part of her assets to provide for the education of her children, who are now doing well thanks to God. Her dreams include seeing her business continue to prosper and buying of piece of land so that she can build a house of her own.
