Mahulolo Group's story

Group Mahulolo is composed of five residents of the same district in Benin. The group's representative, named Micheline, is raising her hand on the picture. This is the second time that this group is requesting AliDé's financial support in order to increase their level of activity.
Micheline is about 40 years old and is married to Vincent, an accountant. The couple has two children who both attend school and live together with them. Micheline and her husband provide for the family together. Micheline had very little schooling. To support herself and participate to the household expenses, Micheline prepares "Atassi" (a local dish made from rice and beans) and corn porridge, which she has been selling from her home for about twenty years. Customer demand is growing, and given her limited means, Micheline no longer manages to satisfy it well.
In view of this and taking into account their limited resources, Micheline and the other members from group Mahulolo are requesting a collective loan from ALIDé.

In this group: Micheline, K. Mireille, A. Florentine, Akouavi, Odile
