Managua, Nicaragua / Butcher Shop

A loan of $325 helped to buy a cow and a pig to continue growing his meat selling business.

Alejandro's story

Alejandro has a small business with over eleven years experience selling chicken and beef, which he does from his home. He is a father of three children. Both he and his wife take care of his family; his wife works in domestic services, managing to cover medicine and basic expenses.

Don Alejandro liked business, accordingly he started with little and with the support of his parents, he now has his own capital. He achieved this through profits from his sales, and from the financing that Afodenic has given him in two lending cycles. This gives him great satisfaction, and allows him to produce more meat, and better sales.

With this new loan he will buy a cow and a pig to sell their meat. His future plans are to buy more pigs, which he hopes to have more profits to purchase.
