Gansuh's story

Gansuh is 40 years old and lives with his wife and daughter in a ger or Mongolian yurt in Mongolia's province of Uvs. His daughter is 14 years old and attends a local secondary school while his wife owns ice-cream producing business. Gansuh manages a transportation business which serves people in his area. After working for a time for a private company, he went into business for himself and is applying for a loan to pay for repairs to his truck. These repairs will allow him to work more efficiently and safely. He is a polite man who plans to have his own house in the future. He says, "I want to have everything I can work for in life."
