A loan of $550 helped to buy cacao plants.

Alfredo's story

Alfredo is 30 years old. He lives with his wife and has one daughter, Jessica, who is 7 years old. The family live in their own home which is located in Puerto Mayo community, in Pichari district.

Alfredo is noted for the fact that he has many plans in life. However, he assures us that he must carry out his plans with a lot of caution if he is to reach his goals. For this reason, he started to grow cacao. As his sales increased, he decided to work on producing cacao. However, he knows that he still has a long way to go. He makes a lot of sacrifices from very early in the morning until very late at night. His goal is to get a lot out of his land which is still not planted with crops.

Alfredo generally receives help from his family who give him a hand in harvesting his produce. This is his second loan with MFP and he pledges to make his repayments on time. He hopes to receive your cooperation so that he can continue producing cacao. Alfredo will use the 1,500 Peruvian soles to buy more cacao plants.
