Yolanda Marcelina's story

Yolanda is a member of the "Santa Rosa de San José" Community Bank, which is located in Mañazo district, in the province and department of Puno. She is 23 years old, and lives with her one child. She studied only through primary level.

Yolanda is a new member, who only recently joined the Santa Rosa de San José Community Bank of the Manuela Ramos Movement. She is requesting a loan of 300 New Soles; she will invest this money in her business selling groceries. She will buy milk, oil, eggs, flour, detergents, ham and biscuits, all things for stocking her store.

She works alone in her business, her partner works in a mine in Lima. Her dream is to continue with her business, and thereby improve her profits. What she like about the Community Bank is the ease of the loans.
