A loan of $1,000 helped to expand to another store.

Sinthia's story

Señora Sinthia is currently making a living through wholesale and retail sales in her store that supplies basic needs items. She buys Coca Cola and Pepsi sodas directly from the factory delivery trucks as well as other general consumer products. Her store is located in the Kalajahuira zone of the city of La Paz.

She lives in the same residence where she runs the store, which is her mother’s home. She has one child that is one year old and she is married to Señor Freddy who is a salaried driver. They are a young couple with many dreams of getting ahead. This is why she daily engages in sales at her store starting very early in the morning.

She requested another loan because now she wants to open another store in a commercial location. The store is right on the avenue that leads to Yungas, Caranavi, Guanay, Tipuani, Chulumani, Coripata, Palos Blancos, San Borja and Trinidad. As a result, the store has a permanent and daily demand. With this loan she plans to have a considerable improvement in her income, elevating her family’s quality of life.
