A loan of $2,700 helped a member to purchase flour, eggs, yeast, and spices.

Mujeres Loma Group's story

The committee named “Mujeres Loma” was started as a result of some enthusiastic friends and neighbors from the city of Caacupé. They heard about the Program of Women Entrepreneurs and proposed to form a committee. There are currently 15 members. All of them work hard so that they can help one another.

Sra. Cyntia prepares and sells baked goods. She and her husband prepare fresh bread each day to offer to their customers. They work every day, with the exception of Sundays and holidays.

She is requesting a loan to buy flour, eggs, yeast, and certain spices that she needs for preparing her baked goods. Cyntia says that she is very hopeful that this loan will be of great help.
