Diamoral Group's story

This solidarity group was created on June 3, 2010. The group is made up of ten women who live in the same neighborhood. Their main activity is small-scale retail.

Mrs. Fatou Bintou, the group's leader, is on the right in the photo, with her hand raised. She is 32, married, and the mother of two children. She is also responsible for one of her nephews. Her business is selling soap. She has been doing this for several years and has plenty of experience. This loan will allow her to increase her capital and strengthen her level of activity. With the profits, she will be able to improve her family's living conditions (health, food, clothing, etc.) and to increase her savings.
