A loan of $4,050 helped a member purchase of pigs and animal feed.

Peguaho Group's story

This credit committee started in the city of Paraguarí, and currently has 18 members. All the members are women head of households and work every day to support their families. They have pledged solidarity within the group, by working together respectfully and supporting one other.

Rocio has been raising pigs for several years. She can only handle a certain number of animals, but one day she dreams of having a farm so she can accommodate more animals. She works hard in order to provide her children with a better future, so that they will not have to make the same sacrifices as she does.

She is requesting a loan to buy more pigs, as well as nutrient-enriched feed. This loan will greatly help her in achieving her goals.
