Working 6 days a week and 8 hours a day, she supports her family. She has already received, and successfully repaid, 5 loans from Patan BPW and used her most recent loan to buy wood and timber for her business.

In the future, Tejkumari plans to uplift the economic condition of her family. She thanks you for your support. In Nepal, furniture is still made the old-fashioned way. Using little more than basic hand tools, skilled artisans form raw lumber into beautifully finished pieces of furniture. With precision and an eye for detail, furniture makers produce shelves, bed frames, and cabinet sets. With the help of a Kiva loan, a furniture maker is able to increase the volume of his or her lumber purchases or hire additional labor. This additional leverage allows an entrepreneur to increase productivity and profitability.
