Nyansio is a farmer who grows Irish potatoes, maize and groundnuts. He hails from Kyenjojo, Uganda, and is 55 years old. He is married and a father to eight children. Like most families in his area, his wife is also a farmer. Nyansio owns a semi-permanent house and dreams of building a good one and educating his children. He has been a farmer for 15 years now. He began by growing groundnuts on two acres of land from where he accumulated capital to buy more produce and more acres of land. In the future, he wants to own a big store to sell his produce. His hardships are bad climatic conditions and lack of capital.
Nyansio wants a loan facility to enable him to buy produce of groundnuts and maize for resale.
This loan provides farmers and low-income entrepreneurs from underserved rural areas with access to financial services. By supporting this loan, you allow more farmers and rural entrepreneurs to access capital.
