A loan of $375 helped to clear the weeds from his cacao plants.

Edgar's story

Edgar is 29 years old and lives with Reina who is 20. The couple have a beautiful 2 year-old daughter with whom they live in their own home, in the village of Canayre, in Llochegua district.

Edgar owns a cacao production business. This crop is currently at an economic peak and Edgar decided to enter this business when he was 20 years old. He currently has a plot of land where he produces this crop. Edgar has always been consistent in working on his goals. Of course, he has come up against countless obstacles but, thanks to this, he has learned good lessons in life.

Edgar's working hours are from 7.00am to 6.00pm. He generally works on his own but he sometimes receives help from his family. In the future, Edgar would like to sell his produce in other communities so that he can increase his profits. This will be his first loan from MFP and he hopes to receive your support so that he can achieve his goals. Edgar would like to use the 1,000 Peruvian soles he has requested to care for his cacao plants.
