Robert's story

Robert lives in Kiryandongo, Uganda where he operates a stationery shop and bar and has been in business for the last five years. He is a 34-year-old man, married with two children, ages 2 and 7 years old. Robert has no other dependants; he lives with his family of four. Robert dreams of starting up a powerful business for his wife so that she can also earn an income for the family.

Robert started by making local wine then moved on to selling beer and sodas. Robert's hardships in the business include competition and price fluctuations. He intends to use this loan to buy more crates of beer to sell in his bar.
