A loan of $725 helped to buy supplies for making food.

Pochita's story

Pochita is 32 years old. She is a very kind and hard-working woman who lives in her own home together with her husband, 47 year-old José, and her four beloved children, who she would like to provide with a better quality of life.

Pochita has a food stall in her own home where she sells delicious meals. The aroma that wafts from her delicious soups is enough to attract customers. Her stall is very popular and she generally sells a lot throughout the whole morning. Pochita has been in this business for three years and it has made her the money she needs to feed her children and pay for their education. However, she feels that she will have more expenses in the future and will not have enough money to cover them. For this reason, she would like to set up a restaurant where she can sell her delicious dishes more comfortably and also improve her income.

Pochita enjoys chatting with her customers and enjoys her work but it is very difficult to serve all the people who come to her business. However, she does not flag in her eagerness to get ahead in life and she is prepared to work very hard in order to achieve this.

This will be Pochita's twelfth loan from MFP and she hopes to receive the support of each and every one of you. Pochita will use the 2,000 Peruvian soles she has requested to buy more ingredients with which to prepare the food that she sells.
