A loan of $725 helped to pay workers to clear her farmland.

Nexaida's story

Nexaida is 22 years old and in a common-law marriage with Richard, age 25. They live in a rented house. The blood of a farmer runs through her veins since almost everyone in her community engages in agriculture. Nexaida currently grows cacao. Occasionally she has the help of her four children, but she must hire workers during the harvest season. She normally sells her products at the collection centers in the town of Pichari. Going forward, Nexaida plans to buy more land so that she can produce in greater volumes and continue selling her products at a good price. Her only challenge at the moment is a parcel of land that she owns that is located in a rugged area not accessible by vehicle. As a result, she is not able to transport her harvested products.

This will be her second loan with MFP. Nexaida promises to submit her payments on time. The loan of 2000 PEN will be used to hire workers to clear her parcel of farmland.
